8 times Obama's photographer subtly burned Trump on Instagram

Pete Souza, you savage.

SINCE DONALD TRUMP took office, Barack Obama’s White House photographer Pete Souza has been subtly burning Trump on the regular.

Here are some of his best.

When he dissed Trump’s propensity for tweeting absolute nonsense.

Glad he only tweeted out facts with his device.

When he pointed to how President Obama was never afraid of the media.

Waiting with press secretary Robert Gibbs, right, for the start of a press conference in 2010. The New York Times, CNN and Politico were of course in attendance (as well as Fox News).

When he highlighted how Obama actually knew something about healthcare compared to Trump.

The closer. Throwback to two days before Congress passed the Affordable Care Act. President Obama had to convince wavering Democrats to vote for the bill. The fact that he knew the details of the bill itself and the intricacies of health care policy made his calls more effective and thus more successful.

When he subtly showcased the gender balance in Obama’s administration.

Meeting with top advisors. This is a full-frame picture. I guess you’d say I was trying to make a point.

When he bragged about how well liked Obama was in France.

Friendly reception during our first trip to France in 2009.

When he poked fun at the Trump team’s meetings with the Russians.

President Obama talking with Vladimir Putin in 2014. Yes, this get together was disclosed to the press. No, they probably weren’t talking about adoption.

When he mocked Trump’s bizarre, rambling address to the Boy Scouts.

I can assure you, POTUS was not telling this Cub Scout and the Boy Scouts who followed about his electoral college victory.

When he posted this warm, friendly embrace between Merkel and Obama.

By request: President Obama with German Chancellor Angela Merkel at the G20 Summit in 2011.
